Once when I was a younger man.

Back when I played those island songs.

Joined up with The Yucatan Band.

Everybody just sang along.

Our Texico is a wonderful land.

Caribbean beaches to mountain peaks.

Travelled all over with The Yucatan Band.

Dug our lyrics and dug our beats.

Nobody has to be alone.

The Yucatan Band is rolling on.

Bass player was a Beatles fan.

Drummer had a weird little twitch.

The lead guitarist of The Yucatan Band.

Could play, but could be a little bitch.

Eventually we folded up camp.

Something bout a drunken fight.

That was the end of The Yucatan Band.

We played our final night.
