20/20 Gonzo 4: Crackheads

It is all incredible, fantastic, and beautiful.  All the time and always, in each instance and case, whatever the outcome, whatever the eventual reality.  But the road is full of junk and debris, years of neglect and abuse.  Cracks and crackheads, hitchers and hikers.  Truckers and truckstops.

Don't taunt the young and decorated, she bites back.  Looking for the money train, steaming through Europe, chugging through Asia.  Like a modern day, war thirsty, Marco Polo.  Selling missles for cash, getting paid for protection, slopping in the mud.  And crossing the Hawaiian Pearl.

Take the lecture, write it down, wad it up, wrap it tightly with duct tape.  Like a ball, almost.  Then, take it and put it in a special place, one that can be remembered, back from where it came, where all shit comes from.  This classroom will not be quiet, we will teach the teachers.

Red Mud Gonzo: Twenty Nine

"No Controversy" by jpg Researching Max Purcell.  Has a Wimbledon title in doubles.  No controversy to speak of, but he's only won a third of his singles matches for his career.  Michael Mmoh's got wins against Zverev, Auger-Alassime, and Hubie.  Both 26 years of age, Purcell's won $3.5 million, Mmoh's at $2.5 million.  Not bad. "1st Victim" by The Mayor Dumb ass.  Loses the element of surprise and becomes the 1st victim.  Add to it, he is carrying an oversi...

Maniacs And Friends

last night i dreamed i forgave everybody for anything ever done anytime before. there were fathers, brothers, sisters, and mothers, not to mention extended family. then the people all around -- toilers, drivers, watchers, lovers, maniacs, and friends. things they did, said, implied, yelled, things they ignored, they insisted, they resisted. i was talking with each of them individually, taking my time, and we were committed. nods and shakes, aknowledgments accepted and replaced with a debt of some sort. a responsibility to forgive others in the same manner, slate picked clean and put up. minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, and generations will pass either way.
