The red mud field, dressed for dough, coming on, young and gunning for glory.  Tiafoe, Paul, Wolf, Americans with strut.  Sitting out all Isner matches, watching from the beer garden.  Silently and delusionally, pulling for Verdasco.

"Absorb Every Word Of Wisdom" by AJ

Over 20 years ago in Los Angeles at a Davis cup tie against the Czechs, I sat right behind Pancho Segura all three days. Tried to absorb every word of wisdom. He was beside himself Sunday, when Agassi and Sampras came through for the USA.

Man, Segoo lived a life.  He beat everybody.  His two handed forehand was the best stroke of all time say many.  Responsible for Jimmy Connors, still the leader in titles won.  Tennis was whack in the 40s and 50s.  The World Series Tour, etc.  Damn!  They played  tons of matches.  Alcaraz growing his hair out, a tennis legend tradition.  Almost all the great ones had a mane era, think it liberates their games somehow.

  "No Controversy" by jpg Researching Max Purcell.  Has a Wimbledon title in doubles.  No controversy to speak of, but he's only won a third of his singles matches for his career.  Michael Mmoh's got wins against Zverev, Auger-Alassime, and Hubie.  Both 26 years of age, Purcell's won $3.5 million, Mmoh's at $2.5 million.  Not bad. "Whataburger Sucks" by jpg TTop was curious about the knife.  This dude spent 5 years in the Mojave desert, said he lost his sense of reality, said he'd defend his country again if he had to, I thought he wanted something to go down.  Told TTop the knife was for killing humans, if needed.  He wore his pistol in a holster for everyone to see.  *The double meat burger at the TX Burger in Fairfield, Texas was 5 of 5 stars.  Deep down, we all know Whataburger sucks. Maniacs And Friends

last night i dreamed i forgave everybody for anything ever done anytime before. there were fathers, brothers, sisters, and mothers, not to mention extended family. then the people all around -- toilers, drivers, watchers, lovers, maniacs, and friends. things they did, said, implied, yelled, things they ignored, they insisted, they resisted. i was talking with each of them individually, taking my time, and we were committed. nods and shakes, aknowledgments accepted and replaced with a debt of some sort. a responsibility to forgive others in the same manner, slate picked clean and put up. minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, and generations will pass either way.
